“Labors of Love” with Jill and Rufus

WCVB/Boston Reporter Ted Reinstein's “Labors of Love” show starts with a James Weldon Johnson story with interviews of Jill Jones, Rufus Jones, and Bard College at Simon’s Provost John Weinstein. The show aired on Chronicle Tues. (10/5) at 7:30pm EST/WCVB-TV (Channel 5). The show highlights our cottage, called "Five Acres," in Great Barrington, MA. The home was named by James Weldon and Grace Nail Johnson in 1926 when they purchased the summer home. You will also see the Writing Cabin that we are working to preserve and restore. Johnson wrote two of his famous works in this cabin, "God's Trombones" and "Along This Way."
